Before a baby even open their eyes, they began to listen to sounds of the world through the walls of their mother’s womb. So, in a way we’ve been listening to music even before we were born. But how do we define Music?? Music consist of three elements – melody, rhythm and harmony and together these three elements create a sound event which is called music.

Everybody has a different taste in music based on their liking and how well they connect to that specific genre of music.

When I started to listen music, I realised that nothing can beat the charm and beauty of old retro songs. There’s something about those songs, that makes my mind calm. Be it Rafi sahab’s sad songs or kishore da’s peppy numbers, every song is unique in it’s own way. Also, these old melodies had such good and amazing lyrics. We could see the finest artwork of some famous lyricists in songs like “Lag ja gale” and “Aaja sanam madhur chandni mein hum”.. The beauty of these songs is the result of lyricist’s hardwork, because they poured their heart out in these lyrics. The way any actor’s feelings is described in these song in such an innocent way, is so pure. The aura created by these melodies is really unmatchable.
